Come on in!

Come on in!

From Our family to yours.

When La Taquiza opened in March of 2006, Patrick and Stephanie saw a need for fresh, healthy, quick service food that would cater to locals, so they drew on what they knew and opened La Taquiza. With so many great options for fine dining, there were few spots available for day-to-day, affordable food. So here we are for moms driving from basketball to ballet with hungry kids in the car, for men and women in need of a healthy lunch option on their 30 minute breaks, and for friends just catching up over a taco (or two). So we invite you to come on in and grab a bite!

A Bit about us

A Bit about us

Patrick and Stephanie Aguirre opened La Taquiza after they saw a need in Napa for a restaurant that served food they would eat in their own home. Stephanie was raised watching her father build an empire of family style marisco restaurants in Los Angeles. After getting married, she and Patrick both gained experience in the Mexican restaurant world working for the family business before Patrick decided to pursue his dream and enroll at Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Academy.

After graduating, and working in various fine dining kitchens across LA, the Aguirres and their four kids moved to Napa so Patrick could train and work as a baker at Bouchon in Yountville. Soon the Aguirres fell in love with Napa and wanted to make it their home, but it was incomplete without a piece of their Southern California life. So In the spring of 2006, La Taquiza opened and brought the love of fresh seafood and family friendly food to Napa.
